StormFlyt privacy notice
Last updated November 7, 2026
StormFlyt is a private, invite-only flight scheduling application used by members of a single U.S. Air Force Reserve squadron. Only people an administrator has added to the squadron roster can sign in.
What we store
- Roster details entered by administrators: name, rank, email address, optional phone number, crew position, qualifications and access role.
- Schedule information: events, crew assignments, pay status codes, requests to participate, availability you enter, and messages and notifications sent in the app.
- A record of schedule changes (who changed what, and when).
- Sign-in data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the IP address and browser of active sessions.
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, StormFlyt receives only your name, email address and a provider account identifier, and uses them only to match you to your roster entry. StormFlyt does not request access to your contacts, files, calendar or any other account data.
How it is used and shared
Information is used only to run the squadron schedule. Phone numbers are visible only to schedulers and administrators. Information is not sold, used for advertising, or shared outside the squadron, except with the service providers that host the application (Amazon Web Services, United States) and deliver its email (Amazon SES).
StormFlyt sends sign-in links you request and notifications about your own schedule. You can turn off notification emails in My Profile.
Retention, corrections and removal
Information is kept while you are on the squadron roster. To correct or remove your information, contact your StormFlyt administrator; deactivated members can no longer sign in.
